The Home Decor cartridge is an example of a shape cartridge that can be used with any of the cutting machines from Cricut. Most of these cartridges have a particular theme so that there would be a lot of options of designs for a desired project. Some cartridges on the other hand have a little bit of everything so they can be used for different occasions. The Home Decor cartridge focuses on the decorative aspect meaning it would be most useful for the final touches of a certain project.
There are 50 main images in this specific cartridge. 40 of them are shapes and the last 10 is a set of words including memories, simplify, hope, miracle, create, love, forever, explore, adore and beautiful. All of the words are written in graceful script accented with swirls. The shapes on the other hand are variations of flora and fauna that would make wonderful embellishments in any project. There are birds and insects like butterflies, dragonflies, bees and ladybugs. There are also symbols that are commonly used such as star, fleur-de-lis, heart, crown and chandelier.
Although most of these shapes are neutral, they can be more specific by use of colors and other trimmings. For instance, if the star symbol is used on red paper and drizzled with glitters, it would pass as a Christmas symbol. Likewise if the heart is cut out in different shapes and different hues of reds, it would be ideal to use for Valentines. It would depend on the artist how they can make use of the shapes from the Home Decor cartridge.
In scrapbooks, these would make ideal borders. If the scrapbook artist thinks that a full border is over the top, they can resort to having a horizontal or a vertical border in one or 2 sides. It is really a matter of taste. A simple swirl or a symbol like fleur-de-lis can also be used at the beginning or at the end of a text. For instance, it is very common to have excerpts from songs or poems in the pages of the scrapbook and with text alone, it may be too monotonous. The details and other labeling styles such as explaining a photo can also make use of these symbols.
Shadow and Blackout creative features can be used in this cartridge. These features make this cartridge more versatile especially that there can be more possibilities when it comes to layering these shapes and symbols.

Turner Broadcasting will rollout its UK preschool channel Cartoonito across Europe, the Middle East and Africa this September as part of its efforts to increase the brand’s distribution to 125 million homes in 112 territories.
Cartoonito is aimed at preschoolers aged three to six and their parents. In Turkey and the Middle East, the Cartoonito block will broadcast on Cartoon Network.
Launching with a slate of strong and varied content, Turner Broadcasting has picked up the new series of Bananas in Pyjamas as one of its flagship debut shows. Produced by Southern Star Entertainment/Southern Star Singapore (a division of Endemol Group) in association with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the well-known series has a much-loved heritage and a quirky feel that will fit aptly with the channel’s vibrant and imaginative brand attributes. Bananas in Pyjamas is one of a number of high profile deal signings by the broadcaster.
